Overview: Critical Thinking
The first step towards critical thinking is to make a difference between our personal value and an idea or argument we happen to believe. Once our personal value is no longer in question, it becomes much easier to critically evaluate some idea we happen to believe.
Everything else in critical thinking is experience in detecting the many different logical fallacies that can make up unreliable arguments. To develop the discernment needed for distinguishing complicated fallacies from complicated reliable models requires a lifetime of learning.
